Post Traumatic Disorder
It
is usually known as Post traumatic disorder. A minor mutation that appears in
the victim's mind after a trauma. Trauma occurs in a variety of ways. For
example -
- Soldiers returning home from battle - saw a comrade standing very close
to him and suddenly being attacked by enemy.
- A young child who sees his father beating his mother.
- Some scenes that come to mind of car accident survivors.
- Those whose houses were swept away in the floods and lost everything.
It
is shocking when the mind becomes so vulnerable. It is said that trauma occurs
when several parts of the brain are struck simultaneously.
01. Amygdala - It is one of two almond-shaped cell clusters located near the base of the brain. Supervisor model for monitoring stress. Traumatic
events that took place at a young age also linger here. For example, at a young
age, we recover from finger burns caused by a lamp fire. So after that, when
the lamp is on fire, there will be a warning. This element does this.
02.Hippocampus - (Hippocampus) - It is located in the middle of the brain.
I mean this is the hard drive of the human brain. Includes multiple GB.
Amygdala will push more information here than needed. So when needed, get the
requested information from here. Then we can take amygdala as desktop.
Convenient to search immediately.
03.The third is located - Cortex. It is located on the front of the
forehead. This is how you make decisions based on what is happening in front of
your eyes. That is why, when the time comes to make decisions that put too much
pressure on the need, pain in the frontal lobe occurs. We hold the forehead as
it is. Headaches add up when it comes to the confusion of “not knowing what to
do”.
This
is the only place to know. When all the above three elements work together, the
balance of the mind remains intact. PTSD (Post traumatic stress disorder) comes only when the balance is wrong. That is, we call
this state beyond control.
When
endurance decreases, the hippocampus becomes unable to store events. At this
point, the cortex in the front forehead will try to calm the amygdala in the
back. That is, they leave the work to be done and work to maintain the balance
of the mind.
A
few will maintain the balance of the mind through exercises such as meditation
for a while. Then, think about the decision to make. That means they will start
the thing after they get a clear vision.
Many
do not succeed in this.
01.Addiction to alcohol is due to this problem. Alcohol reduces the
function of the mind. May be out of control of the mind for a while. But cannot
deviate from the problem.
02.Drugs; Smoking. (If someone I know asks him a question, he will answer
only after lighting a cigarette and take a puff)
